Morning Prayer
Sep 24 @ 8:15 am – 8:45 am
Morning Prayer @ Dorchester Abbey | Dorchester | United Kingdom

At Dorchester Abbey the day begins, as it has done for hundreds of years, with Morning Prayer.
Members of clergy and people from the community gather in the quiet stillness of the Birinus Chapel for a said service involving Psalms, readings from the Bible and prayers to help prepare us for the day ahead.
This simple, gentle service is a wonderful start to the day, enabling us to lay before God our hopes, expectations and concerns about the coming hours, and reminding us that as we journey we are not alone; God is with us.
You are very welcome to join us.

You may expect a warm welcome from the volunteer army of helpers and be delighted with the delicious range of home-made cakes and a good cup of tea.
