Our Abbey Community
Our Abbey Community has around 200 people who regularly worship at the Abbey, supported by over 100 volunteers who take on a huge variety of roles to support the Abbey and its mission. Our community is not just from Dorchester – our Friends of Dorchester Abbey include people from as far afield as Seattle!
We are led by the people you see below – clergy, Churchwardens, paid staff and PCC, who all work together inspired by a love of this wonderful building and the sense of God within it.
Our Abbey is led by a Rector, 2 Curates and 2 Churchwardens with the support of an Associate Vicar and the Dorchester Team Clergy:
