Hold Your Wedding Reception at Dorchester Abbey

The charming Abbey Cloister Gardens offers the opportunity to hold your daytime celebration in a Marquee. Your guests will really enjoy relaxing after the ceremony without the hassle of driving to and finding the next venue. We cannot offer evening receptions in the garden, but previously couples have moved their celebrations to the Village Hall to continue dancing the night away.

A full quote can be provided to you, following an initial no commitment consultation to understand your plans and requirements.

For a formal gathering, we have space for a marquee up to 250 seated guests which can be booked in the Cloister Gardens. To hire the Gardens, a charge would be made varying depending on the time needed, additional costs of the marquee, catering and extra WC’s are not included in this rate.

Pre booked parking for more than 150 guests is a requirement and can be easily arranged at the rate of £100.
