Dorchester’s Big Screen

Join us for an exciting weekend of live Wimbledon, film and England in the Euros Finals!

For the weekend of 10th & 11th July, the Cloister Garden will be turned into an outdoor cinema with a HUGE backlit screen.

We’ll be showing live Wimbledon finals during the afternoons with cream tea hampers served by our very own tea rooms and a bar with Pimms and Prosecco. Bring your own blanket and/or chairs, settle in for the afternoon and relax! Although afternoon entry will be free, space is limited and people who have pre-ordered tea or drink tickets will have priority.

On Saturday evening bring the whole family from 6pm for a BBQ followed by an evening with The Greatest Showman. This brilliant musical film stars Hugh Jackman as the showman P.T.Barnum. You are encouraged to dress up as a character and sing along with the film (both entirely optional!). A bar will be open for the evening with that absolute essential – popcorn!

On Sunday evening come and support England in the Euros finals with a BBQ from 6.30pm. It’s the only place to be for this historic match!

Our team will steward these events to make sure everyone can see and is kept at a safe distance.

All profits from this weekend will go to Dorchester Abbey. Please DO NOT bring your own refreshments – we will have everything you need!

1.45pm Ladies Final (cream tea hampers, teas, bar)

6-7pm BBQ supper
