Friday 28 to Monday 31	4th English Music Festival	Will open with the BBC Concert Orchestra perfoming lost gems of the early twentieth century. Will also include concerts by the Elysian Singers and Syred Consort; a perfomance of Holst's powerful opera Savitri; works for string orchestra; premieres of early English violin sonatas, mediaeval dance music, a brass band concert; and Come and Sing Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs and Elgar Scenes from the Bavarian Highlands, with Brian Kay conducting.
